Building Service Worker Program

Overview

The Building Service Worker (BSW) Training Certificate Program is a 15‑week blended learning program that prepares learners across British Columbia with the practical skills, technical knowledge, and job readiness needed for employment in custodial services, building operations, and facilities maintenance.

Upon completion, participants earn an industry‑recognized micro‑credential aligned with BC’s workforce development goals, supporting access to in‑demand jobs in schools, healthcare facilities, Indigenous community buildings, and commercial environments.

  • This is a cohort-based training program; therefore, once registration is confirmed, all fees are non-refundable in the event of cancellation by the learner. 
  • Western Workforce Skills & Training Centre reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the course due to insufficient enrollment, instructor unavailability, unforeseen circumstances, or events beyond its control. In such cases, learners will be notified in advance for rescheduling.
