The Business and Project Management Foundations Course is a hands-on training program that builds essential management, operational, and project coordination skills for individuals in administrative, supervisory, or support positions within non-profit and community-based organizations.

This program covers key business management principles including workflow optimization, budgeting, communication, and team coordination, alongside core project management practices such as planning, scheduling, stakeholder engagement, risk awareness, and progress reporting. Participants learn practical methods to manage daily operations and internal projects more effectively using simple, real-world tools that can be applied immediately on the job.

Through interactive sessions and applied learning activities, the course emphasizes practical skill-building over theory, equipping participants to better support leadership, enhance organizational efficiency, and coordinate projects and initiatives that align with organizational priorities.

  • Western Workforce Skills & Training Centre reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the course due to insufficient enrollment, instructor unavailability, unforeseen circumstances, or events beyond its control. In such cases, learners will be notified in advance for rescheduling.
